The Focus
Fonterra aimed to refresh its Pediapro range to better connect with modern Sri Lankan parents while highlighting its advanced nutritional science. The challenge involved designing two distinct packs: one for toddlers (1–3 years), focusing on holistic growth, and one for preschoolers (4–6 years), linking premium nutrition to academic readiness.
The Design
A friendly lion mascot was introduced to represent the target age group—adding warmth, excitement, and relatability to the category. The lion, a national symbol of Sri Lanka, also created a deeper cultural connection with parents. The design emphasised key benefits like Iron and Omega-3, complemented by a vibrant palette and modern typography. The result was a visually dynamic, emotionally resonant packaging solution that positioned Anchor Pediapro as a trusted, premium choice for growing children.
